Image of the Day: Herbig-Haro 46/47

Herbig-Haro 46/47, as seen by Webb and Hubble: a tightly bound pair of actively forming stars, just a few thousand years old!

This photo was taken by the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope. Here, its nebula appears as a blue cloud through which Webb can see, revealing more of Herbig-Haro 46/47 as well as stars and galaxies in the distance!
