Arp-Madore 2026-424

This cosmic face is made up of two galaxy cores (the eyes) surrounded by a ring of blue stars (the face).

Known as Arp-Madore 2026-424, this galactic gaze will merge into one galaxy in about one or two billion years.

Two glowing, yellow galactic cores shine side-by-side, resembling a pair of eyes. They are surrounded by a ring of swirling, glowing blue stars. Distant stars and galaxies shine against black space.
