1. What cookies are, and how we use them
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are essential to make the site work; others help us understand how the site is used, remember your preferences, or show you relevant advertising. Similar technologies — pixels, local storage, tracking scripts — are covered by this policy on the same terms as cookies.
When you first visit spaceinfo.club, a consent banner asks you to accept or decline non-essential cookies, by category. You can change your choice at any time — see §5.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary / technical. These make the site function — for example remembering that you accepted or declined cookies, keeping a shopping cart contents together while you check out, and basic security. They do not require consent because the site cannot work correctly without them, but we still list them below for transparency.
Functional. These remember choices you make (for example a preference you set) so you don’t have to set it again on your next visit.
Statistics / analytics. These help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, where people drop off — in aggregate and, where the tool allows it, anonymised. They require your consent.
Marketing / advertising. These are used by us and by our advertising partners to show you relevant ads on and off our site, and to measure whether an ad led to a registration or a purchase. They require your consent and are linked to the profiling described in §8 of our Privacy Policy.
Content from other websites (social media and embeds). When a page embeds a video or a social post, the platform it comes from may set its own cookies. We do not control these; they are covered by that platform’s own policy, linked in §4.

We removed, without replacement, two entries that appeared on the previous version of this page: Google Maps (no map embedded anywhere on the current site) and “OptiMirk” (not a tool anyone on the team recognises — if this was meant to name something real, please tell us what, and we’ll add it back correctly named).
4. Third-party privacy policies
Where a cookie is set by a third party, that party’s own privacy and cookie policy governs how it uses the data the cookie collects:

5. How to change your choice
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time by reopening the consent banner or by changing your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site — including checkout — from working properly.
6. How long cookies last
Most of the cookies above expire automatically between the end of your browsing session and 24 months, depending on the tool; Google Analytics cookies are set to a 14-month retention window, consistent with §7 of our Privacy Policy. We do not currently set any cookie intended to persist longer than that.
