In a landmark collaboration that blends cutting-edge science with global entertainment, Netflix and NASA+ have partnered to bring live space programming directly to subscribers’ screens starting this summer. This innovative move will integrate NASA’s livestream content — including rocket launches, spacewalks, and International Space Station (ISS) feeds — into Netflix’s streaming platform, expanding access to the awe of space exploration for millions around the world.
A New Frontier in Streaming
The partnership marks a significant evolution in how space content is delivered to the public. NASA+ — the U.S. space agency’s ad-free, on-demand streaming platform launched in 2023 — was designed to make science and exploration more accessible and engaging. Now, in collaboration with Netflix, NASA+ content will be broadcast live and on-demand through one of the world’s largest streaming services — with no additional cost to Netflix subscribers.
The rollout begins this July with a live stream of the Progress 92 cargo mission, launching July 3 and docking with the ISS on July 5. Additional programming will follow, including real-time views from the ISS, deep dives into missions like Artemis, and original NASA+ series and documentaries.

The Netflix–NASA+ integration will deliver:
- Live Rocket Launches – Including crewed and cargo missions to the ISS and beyond.

- Earth Views from Orbit – Soothing, high-definition streams of Earth from space.
